Job Purpose

The role is key towards driving successful functioning and re-engineering of business processes within the Air Freight and Invoicing stream with the integrator strategy in mind and transformation journey we are embarking on. It is a Techno-Functional role which will have excellent visibility with senior stakeholders within the organization and with other verticals considering the criticality of the projects in which they are involved.

Key Responsibilities

Process Optimization: Responsible for optimizing existing process capabilities, including standardization, automation, and monitoring process performance indicators.

Technology Development: Accountable for prioritizing and sequencing tech development requirements for platforms in collaboration with stakeholders.

Process Capability Design: Responsible for designing process capabilities and establishing a process framework that supports the integrated container logistics vision.

End-to-End Process Decisions: Accountable for making end-to-end process decisions for specific process segments, including delivering the investment business case.

Innovation and Alternative Assessment: Participates in the development of new ideas, organizes information to develop, compare, and assess alternatives.

Subject Matter Expert (SME) Development: Creates and owns the development of an SME community across Maersk, involving them in application development, research, testing, and roll-out.

Collaboration and Policy Implementation: Collaborates with the GPL and Functional Product Owner Community to define and implement enterprise-wide policies and internal controls, ensuring compliance. Including alignment with billing and invoicing elements with dependent parties, such as taxation, legal, treasury etc.

Business Process Governance: Contributes to the definition, implementation, and evolution of the enterprise-wide business process governance model within their assigned area(s) of responsibility.

Project Management: Be able to lead, plan, execute and oversee all aspects of relevant OnL projects on Air Freight and Invoicing to ensure it meets its goals and objectives within the specified time, budget, and quality parameters.

Required Qualification, Experience & Skills

  • Minimum +2-3 years' experience with global, multinational matrix structured organizations
  • Strong understanding of Air Freight and Logistics business and Technologies /Platform like SAP/Jira
  • Strong understanding of finance and business drivers both upstream and downstream – in Shipping, Logistics and supply or related industry
  • Could manage change – understand concepts of change management with demonstrated capabilities
  • Ability and experience of identifying business improvement ideas and deliver Business cases
  • Good communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders within the organization
  • Innovative and creative thinker, with strong problem-solving skills and comfort with managing uncertainties
  • Proficient in stakeholder management with proven capability to build strong networks and influence decision makers in a matrix organization structure
  • Ability to manage cross-functional and remote project teams with well-developed capabilities in project management
  • Resilient to change and comfortable with fast shifting priorities, workload and responsibilities
  • Self-starter, self-motivator, comfortable with high level of autonomy, while also a team player
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Competent and confident public speaker

Required Business/Technical Knowledge

Hands on experience in E2E Air Freight and Invoicing process/policies with understanding & experience of TMFF, Kewil, CW1 & SAP FACT, Collection tools (Get paid, My Finance, FSCM) etc.Understanding and experience in Depot will be an advantage.
