Air Logistics Product Specialist

Job Objective

This position plays a crucial role in enhancing the operational efficiency and redesigning business workflows within the TbM-Billing & Invoicing sector, aligning with our integrator strategy and the transformative journey we are undertaking. It is a Techno-Functional position that will engage with senior leadership across the organization and various divisions, given the significance of the projects involved.

Primary Responsibilities

Process Enhancement: Tasked with refining existing process capabilities, focusing on standardization, automation, and tracking performance metrics.

Technology Advancement: Responsible for prioritizing and organizing technological development needs for platforms in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Process Capability Architecture : Accountable for designing process capabilities and establishing a framework that supports the integrated container logistics vision.

Comprehensive Process Decisions: Responsible for making holistic process decisions for specific segments, including the development of investment business cases.

Innovation and Alternatives Evaluation: Engages in generating new concepts, organizing data to develop, compare, and evaluate alternatives.

Subject Matter Expert (SME) Development: Initiates and manages the creation of an SME community across Maersk, involving them in application development, research, testing, and implementation.

Collaboration and Policy Execution: Works alongside the GPL and Functional Product Owner Community to define and enforce enterprise-wide policies and internal controls, ensuring compliance. This includes aligning billing and invoicing elements with associated parties, such as taxation, legal, and treasury.

Business Process Governance: Contributes to the establishment, implementation, and evolution of the enterprise-wide business process governance model within their designated areas of responsibility.

Project Leadership: Capable of leading, planning, executing, and overseeing all aspects of relevant OnL projects related to Billing and Invoicing to ensure objectives are met within specified time, budget, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills

A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in global, multinational matrix organizations Strong comprehension of Air & LcL business and technologies/platforms such as SAP/Jira. In-depth understanding of financial and business drivers both upstream and downstream – in Shipping, Logistics, and supply chain or related sectors. Ability to manage change – familiarity with change management concepts and demonstrated capabilities Experience in identifying business improvement opportunities and delivering business cases Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders Innovative and creative thinker, with strong problem-solving abilities and comfort in managing uncertainties Proficient in stakeholder management with a proven ability to build strong networks and influence decision-makers in a matrix organization Capable of managing cross-functional and remote project teams with well-developed project management skills Resilient to change and comfortable with rapidly shifting priorities, workloads, and responsibilities Self-starter, self-motivated, comfortable with a high level of autonomy, while also being a team player Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Competent and confident public speaker

Required Business/Technical Knowledge

Practical experience in end-to-end billing and invoicing processes/policies with understanding & experience of TMFF, Kewil, CW1 & SAP FACT, Collection tools (Get paid, My Finance, FSCM) etc. Familiarity and experience in Depot will be an advantage.
