Job Summary
The Senior Gaming Community Lead will oversee content strategy, engage with the community on various channels, develop impactful product communications, and organize community initiatives. They will also coordinate content plans with cross-functional and regional teams, strategize content creator outreach, and analyze content program performance through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and execution of community content plans, including social media, blog posts, and other community engagement activities.
- Craft compelling product communications, including developer feedback and patch notes, to keep the community informed and engaged.
- Organize and execute community initiatives, contests, events, and content partnerships to foster a sense of community and drive engagement.
- Coordinate content plans with cross-functional and regional teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment with company goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with content creators, identifying new talent and opportunities to collaborate with them.
- Analyze content program performance using data-driven insights to optimize future content strategies.
- Maintain professional moderation on community channels by managing moderators and ensuring a positive user experience.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in managing and expanding gaming communities.
- Demonstrated excellence in brand communications and content writing, with a strong understanding of what resonates with gamers.
- A profound understanding of community platforms and their impact on community engagement, with experience in utilizing them effectively.
- Highly organized and proactive, with adept skills in planning and self-managing social media content strategy.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese to effectively communicate with colleagues and engage with the Chinese gaming community.
