Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Season Buying

The Buying Manager will be responsible for:

  • Planning and executing order system operations, including pre-season order rule collection and setting, and order split execution into pre-season and in-season.
  • Consolidating mirror SKUs of Never Out of Stock products from all category buyers and collaborating with the data analysis team for in-season tool preparation.
  • Updating pre-season order consolidation for all ReAct products.
In-Season Buying

The Buying Manager will be responsible for:

  • Rolling Never Out of Stock products with size-level order plans for the DTC channel on a monthly basis.
  • Rolling Never Out of Stock products for the FRS channel with close cooperation with the FRS sales team.
  • Conducting weekly performance readings with the Read & ReAct tool for OMNI channels.
  • Collaborating with the In-Season-Trading team and FRS sales team on final confirmation of replenishment triggering.
  • Preparing bi-weekly buy sign-offs.
  • Sharing inventory between DTC channels (OR/EC) with IST support.
Planning

The Buying Manager will be responsible for:

  • Timely updating OTB tracking for replenishment decisions.
  • Timely updating order consolidation for both pre-season and in-season buys.
Systems and Processes

The Buying Manager will be responsible for:

  • Participating in systems/tool training and upgrade feedback with IT.
Others

The Buying Manager will be responsible for other job-related work assigned by the Line Manager.

Key Relationships

The Buying Manager will work closely with OMB Planning, OMN In-Season-Trading, FRS Product Sales, and IT teams.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good data analysis and Excel skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and practical.
Requisite Education, Experience, and Other Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • University advanced degree.
  • 3-5 years' experience in merchandising or planning functions.
  • Prefer very good Excel modeling skills and good process execution.
  • Good understanding of retail business with in-season operational experience.
