Product Portfolio Manager Job Description

Goodyear is seeking a highly skilled Product Portfolio Manager to support and oversee product portfolio actions at a regional level. The successful candidate will ensure synergy in efforts, execution efficiency, and alignment with the overall corporate strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and oversee portfolio actions (rationalization, line extensions, reporting) on a regional level to ensure efforts are synergized, efficient, and aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Ensure the timely and high-quality preparation of product portfolio reports for corporate cycles.
  • Drive the planning and execution of the AP product roadmap, based on customer needs and data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate closely with enterprise project leaders, engineering, sales, marketing, and country-level teams to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue goals are met.
  • Participate in defining Customer Value Proposition and Go-To-Market strategies for new and existing products to achieve competitive advantage and product superiority across targeted countries, sales channels, and customer segments.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in product management, portfolio management, or a similar role, preferably within a multinational or regional environment. Proven track record of driving product strategy, roadmap development, and execution across multiple countries or regions. Strong experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing, and project management.
  • Skills and Competencies: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize effectively. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities. Demonstrated ability to define Customer Value Propositions and create effective Go-To-Market strategies. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams across different countries and functions. Experience with product lifecycle management tools and familiarity with market analysis techniques. Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional regional language is a plus.
