Job Title: Application Manager, Automation Systems
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Application Manager, Automation Systems to join our team at Valmet. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing sales support performance and quality to drive business growth for China PPS Capital and strengthening efforts in competitor replacement development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate proposals for DCS, QCS, CM, and MV to support local sales and provide value-added selling.
- Responsible for accurate quotation pricing, cost analysis, and optimization.
- Work on and develop winning solutions for PPCS & QMS sales in the China area.
- Provide specific product recommendations after onsite information collection and support for sales bidding.
- Feedback local application, quality cost, and quality issues to global product lines.
- Launch local new products, localize and update sales materials, and assist in marketing activities.
- Monitor the market of PPCS & QMS, competition dynamics, and product competitiveness, making local initiatives/strategies to product lines.
- Monitor direct sales hit rates, capital sales performance, and PPS business reports per PG, and build local references.
- Responsible for PPS Must Wins implementation and business growth initiatives to boost PPS Capital direct sales development.
- Possess good skills for product presentation and introduction to customers and seminars.
- Strong communication skills with sales, service, operation, and PGs.
- Assist in developing local delivery models to increase cost competitiveness.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in the paper industry with at least a bachelor's degree in Paper Technology or Automation Technology.
- Experience in technical solution recommendation and involvement in the bidding process.
- Background in technical application, marketing, and sales.
