Global Medical Director

Job Summary:
The Medical Director will lead the medical affairs function in China, supporting the company\'s growth strategy in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement medical strategies to support product launches and lifecycle management in China
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Provide scientific and medical expertise to support commercial and marketing initiatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and regulatory authorities in China
- Lead the development and implementation of medical education programs for healthcare professionals in China
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of adverse event data and other safety information
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment and consistency in medical affairs activities
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical operations, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in leading medical affairs teams and developing and implementing medical strategies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization
- Fluent English language skills, with ability to communicate complex scientific information to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in a complex and matrixed environment, with ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, with occasional overnight stays
- Relevant experience and qualifications in a related field, such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or medical research
