Global Medical Affairs Manager

Job Summary
In this key role, you will be responsible for the medical leadership of the assigned disease areas and related biomarkers in the region, working under the direction of the Associate Medical Director. As Country Medical Manager, you will provide critical medical input to support the deliverables of the medical plan/biomarker plan for assigned disease areas and related biomarkers
Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate, as a medical expert, in medical strategy and execution discussions on the assigned disease areas and related biomarkers, collaborating with cross-functional partners to build a partnership focused on medical excellence
Develop and maintain a network of medical partners, including HCPs and other experts in the assigned disease area(s) to provide information on therapies, drugs, and innovative methods of treatment
Ensure that regulatory requirements are met and optimized with regards to product(s) in the assigned country/region, collaborating with appropriate teams to ensure timely completion of required activities
Oversee the development of the medical plan/biomarker plan for assigned disease areas and related biomarkers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the goals of the company and compliance with regulatory requirements
Identify and mitigate potential regulatory and reputational risks arising from external partners and third parties in the assigned disease area(s)
Requirements
Education: Master's degree or higher in a relevant field (Pharmaceutical, Bioscience, or Medical related field) or clinical experience
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-related role in the pharmaceutical industry, or experience in a related field, such as medical affairs, regulatory, or communication, with a scientific or medical background
Additional characteristics that will be taken into consideration for this role include business acumen, initiative, negotiation, prioritization, and project management skills.
