Job Title: Medical Affairs Expert
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Affairs Expert to join our team at Roche. As a Medical Affairs Expert, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing medical strategies to support our business objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with our Business Affairs team to develop and implement medical strategies that align with our business goals.
2. Identify and address medical and scientific knowledge gaps in our disease area expertise.
3. Develop and review medical content to ensure accuracy, balance, and compliance with local regulations.
4. Establish and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in our disease areas.
5. Support medical events and ensure all activities align with compliance and Roche requirements.
6. Develop internal medical information training materials and train colleagues on our disease area expertise.
7. Review and ensure compliance with our HCP PPTs and Roche promotion and internal training materials.
8. Communicate with our Business Affairs team on issues related to publication in our disease areas.
Requirements:
1. MD, PhD, or PharmD degree and experience in relevant therapeutic areas.
2. 3+ years of experience in the medical or pharmaceutical industry.
3. Clinical research and trial management experience, and the ability to interact with KOLs with sufficient knowledge, expertise, and confidence.
4. Excellent presentation and teaching skills, and the ability to represent the company in a professional manner at medical, scientific, and public events.
5. Independent, self-motivated, proactive, and dynamic.
6. Highly effective oral and written communication skills, and the ability to get ideas across one-on-one, in group settings, and in presentations.
