In our Shanghai office, established in 2013, we have rapidly expanded our expertise in local digital marketing solutions, particularly focusing on WeChat. The Chinese market plays a pivotal role in our global strategy, allowing us to create and deliver engaging digital content and social media campaigns for both local and international clients, including prestigious names like the French International Soccer Team, Club Med, Louis Vuitton, and Air France.
Your Role
This position is based in Shanghai, a central hub for digital innovation.
As a Creative Copywriter, your key responsibilities will include:
- Crafting and refining original and engaging copy in alignment with creative briefs and timelines.
- Strategically conceptualizing marketing materials across various channels while employing diverse writing techniques.
- Developing, writing, and editing proposals for new business opportunities and promotional content for the agency.
- Presenting ideas and concepts both internally and externally in a clear and professional manner.
- Navigating budget constraints during the creative development process.
- Collaborating closely with Account Teams to ensure effective communication and manage expectations.
- Assisting in the conceptualization of visual elements and user interface designs.
- Working alongside Account teams to comprehend client brands and manage projects to optimize brand delivery.
- Timely submission of expense claims and timesheets.
Your Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- 1-4 years of relevant experience in fields such as multimedia, advertising, creative design, journalism, or entertainment, or demonstrate a strong aptitude for copywriting.
- Previous experience in digital social marketing, particularly in creating content and campaigns for WeChat.
- Proven professional writing experience in a creative or agency setting.
- A keen interest in emerging platforms, with a solid understanding and passion for social media and digital communications.
- Familiarity with content development, browser capabilities, and technological limitations on the web.
- Language proficiency: native Chinese and strong English skills are essential.
- A flair for innovative and conceptual thinking.
