About the Role


As a Product Manager at Veeva Systems, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our China SFA product, a world-class CRM solution designed for the life sciences industry in the Chinese market.


Your Responsibilities



  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate closely with customers to understand their business requirements and pain points, providing optimal solutions that balance product value, cost, and customer satisfaction.
  • Product Roadmap Development: Utilize market trends, customer needs, and development capacity to define and prioritize the product roadmap.
  • Feature Design: Apply critical thinking and prioritization to key product direction and design decisions, ensuring a shared vision for the product.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work effectively with various teams, including services, solution consultants, engineering, and support, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes efficiency and team synergy.
  • Engineering Team Partnership: Establish and maintain a strong relationship with the engineering team to ensure the speedy and high-quality implementation of product features.
  • Continuous Improvement: Innovate and iterate on existing products, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving the implementation of solutions.

Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in a software company.
  • Strong knowledge of product management principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Proven ability to manage the entire product lifecycle.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, and analytical skills.

Nice to Have



  • Prior experience as a Product Manager in a To-B environment.
  • Understanding of software architecture, which will enable you to quickly understand our platform capabilities and make accurate design decisions.
  • Familiarity with the design of SaaS products.
  • Engineering background preferred.
