Position Overview
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Process Engineer is tasked with spearheading the continuous enhancement of the production team, focusing on process optimization, the study and implementation of new equipment, and more. This role involves collaborating with various functions and stakeholders to execute cross-site and cross-functional projects. The primary objective of the Senior Process Engineer is to elevate production efficiency, quality, cost-effectiveness, and information flow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead production initiatives, particularly those associated with Industry 4.0.
2. Design and refine departmental material and information flows to boost production processes and efficiency.
3. Analyze production data to uncover opportunities for improvement.
4. Facilitate the implementation of new processes and projects with relevant parties.
5. Conduct departmental cost analysis and manage budget controls.
6. Evaluate and validate new investments in equipment or projects.
7. Collaborate closely with Operational Excellence, Production Planning and Control, and automation teams to complete SGA & CI projects.
8. Provide Lean methodologies and training to staff as needed.
9. Monitor operational metrics such as UEE, UPLH, and Scrap, and offer necessary support for metric enhancement.
10. Assist supervisors and managers with daily management tasks and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
WHAT WE SEEK IN CANDIDATES:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in continuous improvement and process standardization.
2. A Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Industrial Engineering or Printing.
3. Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, and project management tools.
4. Proficient in process management and data analysis.
5. CET-4 or higher; fluency in both written and spoken English is required.
6. Excellent leadership and communication skills, coupled with a self-motivated and honest personality, and a readiness to embrace challenges.
