Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Copeland. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Industry Software solutions.


About the Role:



  • Develop front-end web pages and mobile app pages using HTML/CSS/JavaScript technologies.
  • Collaborate with back-end engineers to complete product page writing, data interaction, and dynamic information display.
  • Use various web technologies to develop product interfaces, such as reports or dashboards.
  • Work closely with product managers and UI designers to research and improve user experience.
  • Contribute to the development of Industry Software solutions based on client requirements.
  • Implement Industry Software solutions and ensure client expectations are met.
  • Complete other job assignments as required by the Lead engineer/Engineering Manager.
  • Ensure accurate project completion on schedule and within budget.
  • Support local sales/marketing teams in working closely with potential customers.

About You:


You will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field and a minimum of years of experience in web page development, preferably with industry software experience. You should possess a good understanding of the industry software business in China.


Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Web Service, API, ODBC interface technology.
  • Familiarity with database technology, SQL, and NoSQL.
  • Effective communication skills in spoken and written English.
  • Self-motivated, outgoing personality.
  • Occupational health and safety acumen.

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Willingness to undertake long-term travel (sometimes due to emergencies).
  • Experience in Industry Software system development and implementation.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB will be a plus.
  • OPC knowledge and experience.
  • Experience in Aspen/Imation will be a plus.
