Job Title: Senior Associate, Client Solutions

Job Summary:

GLG is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Client Solutions Healthcare team in Shanghai. The successful candidate will be responsible for exceeding commercial, development, compliance, and people targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of a book of multiple client accounts and project teams focused on the healthcare industry to meet and exceed commercial and service targets with best-in-class service and thoughtful solutions.
  • Lead client user outreach, including identifying new users to establish working relationships and maintaining senior relationships within key accounts.
  • Actively identify and drive upsell opportunities with strong business and financial acumen.
  • Coach and manage junior client solution professionals, developing them into fully capable client solution professionals and monitoring project deliver qualities.
  • Support new sales by joining critical client meetings and leading execution of capability assessments.
  • Participate in company-level operational and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Major in Pharmacy or Biology is a must.
  • 3-5 years of experience, ideally in consulting, sales, and commercial, headhunting, market research, or other professional services. Direct experience in B2B client servicing or account management is a plus.
  • Strong can-do and result-driven attitude with strong execution capability and growth mindset.
  • Successful track record of working in fast-paced, client-service environments.
  • Passion for problem-solving.
  • Experience in coaching and/or managing junior employees or team members.
  • Outstanding collaboration capability to work with cross-team counterparts.
  • Understanding of the business climate and interest in working across industries.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Chinese.
