Senior Engineer, CAE/FEA/NVH Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team as a CAE/FEA/NVH Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting simulations and optimizing designs to find solutions, communicating with internal interfaces and external customers, and providing accurate and complete documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to understand project requirements and determine the suitability of CAE/FEA/NVH solutions.
  • Collect necessary information and data, and provide expected delivery dates while maintaining accurate SFDC data.
  • Conduct simulations and optimize designs to find solutions, and maintain close communication with technical contacts and project teams.
  • Design plastic parts considering application criteria, environmental factors, and processing feasibility.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and transparent documentation on design work completed, and present findings to customers as required.
  • Present and discuss results confidently in seminars, project meetings, and technical presentations.
  • Address CAE data gaps and drive characterization efforts with customer-facing, project, and product line teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with new and advanced CAE techniques and technologies.
Qualifications
  • Proficient in Abaqus/ANSYS, virtual lab, and Hyperworks.
  • Excellent structural and NVH expertise and experience.
  • Knowledge of rigid plastic materials, such as PA and PBT.
  • Expertise in elastomers, such as TPC and TPV, is a plus.
  • Skilled in part design with Solidworks.
  • Good presentation and communication skills.
  • Able to work with a sense of urgency and deliver results within required timeframes.
  • Team player with a willingness to drive and lead.
  • Good learner with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent English skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in office tools, especially PowerPoint.
  • Master's degree in mechanical, automotive, or acoustic engineering.
  • At least 8 years of working experience.
