Job Description

This role involves creating and finalizing product requirements, coordinating technical specifications with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation to deliver industry-leading products. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, and a deep understanding of consumer electronics and mobile power technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain product requirement documents for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with GPMs to bring innovative products to life by translating consumer insights into product solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and planning.
  • Responsible for determining product specifications and features, ensuring alignment with Belkin's long-term mobile power roadmap.
  • Discover and cultivate relationships with industry partners, vendors, and solution providers to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Anticipate and drive technology trends to remain competitive in assigned categories.
  • Lead research and development projects into new technology areas and product types.
  • Participate in consortium events, trade shows, and industry partner development events to stay informed and share learnings.
  • Create partnerships with potential customers and partners to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in product development and creation, preferably in mobile power accessories and/or consumer electronics industry.
  • Strong understanding of mobile power and product development technologies, including USB Power Delivery, Qi Wireless charging, and other power and connectivity technologies.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with vendors in Asia, including Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, and other countries.
  • Proven ability to learn new areas/technologies quickly and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project.
  • Motivated self-starter with high attention to detail.
  • Previous experience working in an international organization, preferably with fluency in Mandarin as well as English.
