Product Innovation Manager

Job Description

This role involves creating and finalizing product requirements, coordinating technical specifications with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation to deliver industry-leading products. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, and a deep understanding of mobile power and consumer electronics technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain product requirement documents for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with global product managers to translate consumer insights into product briefs.
  • Ensure smooth project execution with cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with suppliers to align their roadmaps with Belkin's long-term mobile power roadmap.
  • Discover new suppliers and technologies to optimize costs and drive innovation.
  • Monitor IC options and supply chain for new and existing products.
  • Cultivate relationships with industry partners and solution providers to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Anticipate technology trends and changes to remain competitive.
  • Drive research and development projects into new technology areas and product types.
  • Participate in consortium events, trade shows, and industry partner development events to stay informed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in product development and creation, preferably in mobile power accessories and/or consumer electronics industry.
  • Strong understanding of mobile power and product development technologies.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with vendors in Asia, including Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, and other countries.
  • Proven ability to learn new areas/technologies quickly and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project.
  • Motivated self-starter with high attention to detail.
  • Previous experience working in an international organization, preferably with fluency in Mandarin as well as English.
  • Curious, driven, and respectful.
  • Bachelor's Degree with an engineering concentration or equivalent experience preferred.
