About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior EHS Engineer to join our team at Dover Corporation. As a key member of our Supply Chain China division, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of our operations in Shanghai.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective safety management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to identify compliance gaps and provide solutions to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Manage and report safety expenses and costs to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute plans for continuous and sustainable improvement in EHS performance, focusing on best practices, corporate policies, and business performance.
  • Develop and communicate key performance indicators for EHS-related performance.
  • Review and monitor EHS performance, identify trends, and formulate improvement plans.
Requirements
  • National certified safety engineer.
  • Must have a degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or safety with a bachelor's degree or above from a university.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in E&S management and control, with at least 3 years of experience in a DG production site.
  • Must be able to speak and write good professional English.
  • Good communication and influencing skills, with the ability to train, run, and motivate working sessions with both internal and overseas teams.
  • Strong analytical and simulation skills.
  • Good change leadership and focus on result-driven performance.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Good time management and project management skills.
  • Good knowledge of EHS systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, SMETA).
  • 5S knowledge.
  • Good skills in Word, Excel, and PPT.
