Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure the effective operation of facilities across the designated regions, guaranteeing that all property and office services function smoothly and efficiently.
  • Manage and coordinate all service contracts, ensuring professional delivery at optimal costs.
  • Foster strong collaboration with various departments, including EHS, Security, and Real Estate, to maintain facilities management programs that align with company policies and local requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to local laws, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Supervise and manage improvement projects, renovations, equipment installations, and overall building management.
  • Administer all Real Estate leases, including residential agreements.
  • Execute additional tasks as directed by the Facilities Manager.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Facility Maintenance: Coordinate and supervise mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks, including air compressors, vacuum systems, air conditioning, process chillers, and fire safety systems. Regularly inspect office and repair center equipment, collaborating with users to ensure functionality. Manage office space allocation and parking arrangements, updating seating layouts as necessary. Collaborate with supervisors on budget preparation and execution for facilities in the designated regions. Monitor vendor performance and assess the cost and quality of services provided. Handle billing cycles and maintain relationships with vendors and landlords to ensure timely invoicing and payments.
  • EHS: Oversee and manage Environmental, Health, and Safety matters, acting as the safety engineer and health affairs representative.
  • Security Management: Serve as the emergency contact for office locations, collaborating with the Security Operations Center on security-related issues, including access approvals.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

Education/Training/Skills/Experience Required

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% within the designated regions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architecture, with five to eight years of relevant experience in facilities or property management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industrial facilities, EHS, and compliance with governmental regulations.
  • Engineering background with solid mechanical and electrical expertise.
  • Previous experience in budget oversight is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is essential.
  • Computer proficiency, including Outlook, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD.
