About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Tester to join our team at State Street. As a Business Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our financial services by defining and implementing joint test strategies with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze portfolio data requirements for end-to-end test validations and create test data strategies for end-client reporting.
  • Conduct testing activities against business requirements or client requests.
  • Proactively communicate with business teams and IT teams to identify issues.
  • Execute thorough regression testing to minimize the risk of defects leaking into production environments.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant financial industry experience, preferably in investment management or asset management.
  • Experience in implementing large client onboardings with complex architecture, multiple teams, and functionalities.
  • Knowledge/experience in front office OMS, transaction processing, middle office recordkeeping, and IBOR is essential.
  • Balance of technical/business and quality assurance skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize, and prioritize work.
  • Knowledge in standard Alpha applications is a plus, such as CRIMS, RKS, GTM, OTC, ESP, ADP, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in initiatives/projects related to middle and back office client onboarding.
  • High-level knowledge or experience in capital markets, including middle and back office, securities, bank loans, IBOR/ABOR, transaction management.
  • Solid understanding of data warehouses and databases, including SQL.
