Who we are looking for:
China Based, Business Test Manager with 7+ years of experience to define and implement joint test strategies with client and stakeholders across all in scope workstreams for projects.
Why this role is important to us:
The Alpha strategy and implementation need strong quality control to ensure our services to client can meet their requirement on accuracy and timeliness of data and services we deliver to them. Test team is responsible for, on behalf of Alpha clients and Alpha operations, verifying the solution implemented, identifying defects and communicating to implementation team on complete fixes. The team is also expected to involve in early implementation stage and involve in business requirement understanding, workflow design, data analysis, etc for a better solution, as well as operational readiness and data conversion teams on live readiness.
What you will be responsible for:
As Business Tester you will:
- Analyze portfolio data requirements for end to end test validations, creating test data strategy for end client reporting
- Responsible for conducting activities that ensure that application / system products and projects meet defined quality standards
- Lead and/or conduct testing activities against business requirements or client request
- Proactively communicate with Business team and IT team to identify issues
- Provide regular status updates and supporting project management reports as directed
What we value:

- Experience in implementation of large client onboardings with complex architecture, multiple teams and functionalities.
- Knowledge / Experience in Front Office OMS, Transaction processing, Middle Office Recordkeeping and IBOR is essential.
- Balance of Technical /Business & Quality Assurance
- Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work.
- Knowledge in standard Alpha application is a plus, such as CRIMS, RKS, GTM, OTC, ESP, ADP, etc.
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Experience in the financial services industry or global consulting firm: preferably Middle Office business processing, Investment management, Asset management areas
- Experience in Charles River implementations and test co-ordination with Front office users.
- Domain knowledge and be able to understand the various instrument types like Equities, Bonds, Futures, Options, FX and OTC Derivatives
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Software development life cycle experience is a must
