We invite talented individuals to join our research team at ShanghaiTech University's School of Biomedical Engineering, where we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of neuro-tronics.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a renowned expert in the field, Dr. Sung Il Park, who has established an impressive track record of innovation and achievement.
Our lab is focused on developing soft neural interface platforms that can control neural interfaces and integrate data transmission, signal processing, and power management. We are also exploring novel methods to maximize wireless power transmission into biological tissue.
As a postdoctoral research associate/scientist or research assistant, you will participate in designing and implementing experimental plans, carrying out high-level scientific research, and publishing academic papers. You will also have the opportunity to assist in guiding master's and doctoral students and contribute to laboratory construction.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in device fabrication, characterization, material analysis, electromagnetic design, antenna development, and/or circuit design. Experience with animal testing is highly valued.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong scientific research ability, excellent communication skills, and a passion for research. You will be expected to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to new challenges.
The salary for this position is approximately $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits, including competitive compensation and comprehensive welfare packages, will be provided based on individual circumstances.
