We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Scientific Research Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our research team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, supporting our scientists and researchers in their quest for scientific breakthroughs.

About the Role:

  • Perform sample accession tasks, including opening, entering, tracking, labeling, shipping, and disposition of samples.
  • Review sample inventory against samples to ensure accuracy and communicate discrepancies.
  • Inform Study Director, Principal Investigator, and/or management of any problems during standard and study sample log in.
  • Certified to be an after-hours sample receipt team member, as appropriate.
  • Work with procurement to order lab supplies for studies.
  • Maintain study documentation and laboratory records.
  • Perform routine instrument calibration and maintenance.
  • Set up, operate, and perform routine and non-routine maintenance on general equipment.
  • Contribute towards a cohesive team environment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe laboratory work environment.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in client visits as needed.
  • Plan individual workload in coordination with team members.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • College degree or above in chemistry or a related scientific field.
  • Experience may be substituted for education.
  • Ability to perform basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel).
  • Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
  • Good job responsibility, carefulness, patience, and earnestness.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of approximately 80,000 - 120,000 CNY per year, based on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
