Trade Mark Paralegal

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

The role of the Trade Mark Paralegal will be to provide administrative and technical assistance to the Trade Mark Attorney in their daily tasks and responsibilities.

Administrative Support:

  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date paper and electronic filing systems.
  • Coordinate and prepare formalities and supporting documents for legal submissions.
  • Track and follow up on deadlines and important milestones.
  • Provide excellent client service and communication.

Technical Assistant:

  • Assist in the preparation and execution of legal documents and searches.
  • Conduct search and watch reports for trade marks.
  • Keep up-to-date with the policies and procedures of the China Trade Mark Office (CTMO) and the Trade Mark Review and Adjudication Board (TRAB).
  • Assist in the translation and preparation of trade mark materials.

Analytical and Research Skills:

  • Ability to analyze and identify problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to think critically and make informed decisions.

Communication and Teamwork:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.

Filing Requirements:

  • Good English language and computer skills.
  • Competent Excel and Google suite knowledge.
