Description:Key Responsibilities:
The role of the Trade Mark Paralegal will be to provide administrative and technical assistance to the Trade Mark Attorney in their daily tasks and responsibilities.
Administrative Support:
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date paper and electronic filing systems.
- Coordinate and prepare formalities and supporting documents for legal submissions.
- Track and follow up on deadlines and important milestones.
- Provide excellent client service and communication.
Technical Assistant:
- Assist in the preparation and execution of legal documents and searches.
- Conduct search and watch reports for trade marks.
- Keep up-to-date with the policies and procedures of the China Trade Mark Office (CTMO) and the Trade Mark Review and Adjudication Board (TRAB).
- Assist in the translation and preparation of trade mark materials.
Analytical and Research Skills:
- Ability to analyze and identify problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
Communication and Teamwork:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
Filing Requirements:
- Good English language and computer skills.
- Competent Excel and Google suite knowledge.
