Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at Arrow Electronics, Inc. as a Senior Field Applications Engineer. This role will be responsible for driving demand creation, championing return on engineering investment, and providing technical support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced technical knowledge to champion return on engineering investment and drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on designs.
  • Partner with the sales team to provide technical support and consulting to promote demand creation, and collaborate with suppliers and other Arrow departments to facilitate solutions for customers.
  • Manage supplier and customer expectations by building and developing relationships, and identifying key relationships amongst decision makers within suppliers and customers.
  • Attend supplier trainings and participate in strategic branch meetings and QBRs to develop and drive strategic technical plans.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a 4-year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers, with the ability to solve complex problems and analyze possible solutions using standard procedures.
