Main Responsibilities:

Conducting in-service inspections of vessels, reviewing SEEMP, performing annual DCS data evaluations, and assessing service providers as directed by the Operational Manager, ensuring adherence to Bureau Veritas (BV) Marine & Offshore protocols and quality benchmarks.

2. Implementing and adhering to Marine & Offshore guidelines, directives, and technical instructions issued by BV China Marine & Offshore and BV Marine & Offshore Head Office.
3. Applying BV China Marine & Offshore and BV Marine & Offshore Head Office procedures to ensure personal safety, as well as overall health, safety, and environmental protection standards.
4. Overseeing and executing training and assessment processes for certification and qualification in accordance with BV Marine & Offshore and BV China Marine & Offshore policies.
5. Upon completion of surveys or audits, preparing and submitting relevant reports to the Senior Survey Quality Manager (SSQM), in alignment with BV Marine & Offshore procedures.
6. Ensuring service quality aligns with the BV Marine & Offshore quality management system and providing necessary information and support to management.
7. Making technical decisions on-site, within the scope of Surveyor responsibilities, with managerial support as needed.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Marine Engineering from a recognized Maritime University.
2. Degree in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a Technical University.
3. Minimum of 8 years of experience as an Engineer Officer at sea or in shipyard operations.
4. Proficiency in Chinese and advanced English skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
