Job Description

Scope:

The DC team plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the Client Team and the Data Science Team. As a key member, you will work closely with both stakeholders, driving collaboration and shared goals.

Markets: Greater China and potential projects in the Asia Pacific Region

Global/Regional/Local: Sub-Regional/Local


Purpose of the Role:

You will serve as the primary point of contact between data science and commercial teams, facilitating a deeper understanding of retail products and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting clients' business needs and driving internal product enhancements simultaneously
  • Analyzing large datasets to derive insights on trends and opportunities for further exploration
  • Collaborating with clients to explain study specifics and provide actionable data insights
  • Addressing client queries regarding data irregularities and methodology employed by NielsenIQ's statistical tools
  • Creating clear, concise insights through visualizations or raw data analysis
  • Engaging stakeholders on data requirements and study design
  • Testing new methods, software, and workflows to improve productivity
  • Conducting studies within NielsenIQ departments to update, improve, and create new data requirements for clients
  • Understanding client needs and translating them into actionable insights using NielsenIQ's data


Accountabilities:

  • Working closely with key account clients to ensure data requirements are met and they are satisfied with NielsenIQ's retail analysis methodology
  • Contributing to creating best practices for the country/cluster/region and sharing with other data departments
  • Improving the product through active engagement with the Data Science team
