Automotive Wiper Blade Project Engineer

The role involves overseeing the management of Bosch's aftermarket wiper blade and packaging projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage projects aimed at developing Bosch aftermarket wiper blades and packaging in accordance with Bosch's Product Engineering Process (PEP) and IATF16949 standards.
- Engage in the customer project acquisition phase, focusing on cost analysis and technical evaluations, considering aspects such as cost efficiency, quality assurance, technical feasibility, and scheduling.
- Coordinate work packages within cross-functional teams, collaborating with departments including Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality Management, and Logistics.
- Monitor and assess project progress, providing regular updates to management.
- Collaborate with internal Bosch stakeholders for project status reviews and technical assessments.
- Pursue continuous improvement in cost efficiency, design optimization, and standardization through effective solution tracking.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the department lead.
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is essential.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in design engineering or project management is required.
- Experience in automotive projects is advantageous, along with a background in cross-functional team collaboration.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Prior experience in launching automotive applications is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) is necessary.
- Strong leadership skills for guiding cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication abilities with team members, clients, and management.
- Capacity to perform under pressure.
- Goal-oriented with a structured approach to work.
- Eagerness to learn rapidly in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with Bosch's Product Engineering Process (PEP) and IATF16949 is beneficial; PMI certification is a plus.
- Intercultural competence to collaborate effectively with teams across Europe, America, and the APAC region.
- Proficient in written English.
- Fluent in spoken English for effective communication with European and American colleagues.
