We're looking for a skilled Machining Process Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Review product design drawings and provide feedback in formal countersigns.
  • Establish manufacturing processes in HySAP according to production process plans, including machining, assembly, in-plant testing, sandblasting, painting, and more.
  • Estimate hours for each process.
  • Apply for and prepare CNC requests, tooling requests, and packing requests in HySAP according to production processes.
  • Prepare check sheets and auxiliary drawings for production processes.
  • Conduct risk assessments for key component production processes, formulate technical pre-plans/solutions using P-FMEA, SOP, and other methods, and provide professional improvement measures.
  • Organize production process reviews and preparation meetings for key components before manufacturing procedures are released, with meeting records and task assignments using PDCA.
  • Provide technical support to workshops, track actual implementation, and record key information during production.
  • Solve unqualified cases that occur during production using NCR, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement effective countermeasures using A3/8D report methods.
  • Conduct hours statistics and cost analysis on SFC, manufacturing hours, and actual hours data for key components, and implement effective solutions for large deviations.
  • Provide technical support for workshops, QC, PD, MD, FS, business suppliers, and customers at the company's business level.
  • Continuously improve production efficiency and manufacturing costs by developing and introducing external advanced technologies/tools into actual production.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or above in material, mechanical engineering, or equivalent majors.
  • At least 3 years of experience in machining processes in heavy industry products, with experience in hydro products being a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles, basic knowledge of machining, painting, and finishing assembly, and mechanical criteria such as ASME, ISO, and Chinese standards (GB and JB).
  • Ability to analyze problems, solve them, and communicate effectively in English.
