Associate Creative Director

The Associate Creative Director is a key member of our team, responsible for leading and directing cross-disciplinary development of innovative and engaging digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute creative strategies that drive business results and exceed client expectations.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to brainstorm and concept innovative ideas that meet client needs.
  • Set and lead overall creative direction across all disciplines to execute concepts.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that impact project timelines and quality.
  • Present effectively and concisely to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Take personal accountability for on-time deliverables and expertly crafted design that meets client style guides and standards.
  • Actively work to train and mentor others to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure that all work is in compliance with client style guides and graphic standards.
  • Represent and communicate AKQA's creative and business philosophy, methodology, and capabilities to current and potential clients, as well as across all departments.
  • Stay aware of current design trends and industry innovations.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in relevant fields.
  • Exceptional portfolio that showcases creative ability and strong concept development.
  • Strong background in one or more of the creative disciplines (design, art direction, interaction design, copywriting, motion graphics, creative development).
  • Outstanding creative ability, strong concept development, and ability to lead a team across all creative disciplines.
  • Ability to identify creative methods to arrive at solutions.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of the principles and process of web development.
  • Display professional, articulate, and mature presence in all aspects of team and client relationship building.
