Senior Business Testing Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Testing Analyst to join our team at State Street. As a Business Testing Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our business processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage testing activities within the project lifecycle, utilizing standard project processes and tools.
- Create and document test cases, including test steps, to ensure thorough testing of business scenarios.
- Review testing processes and results with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and processes.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of testing from a business perspective, including testing methodologies, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Escalate issues encountered during testing and work with IT, Product Management, and other teams to resolve noted defects.
- Track test results and compare to business requirements to identify items as defects, enhancements, or user error.
- Identify defects into actionable items and work with IT, Product Management, and other teams to resolve noted defects.
- Track outstanding items and manage to completion.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Testing, Business Analysis, or Business Operations.
- Adequate business knowledge and/or strong business background for picking up business requirements, in order to create testing suites.
- Hands-on experience with all stages of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering.
- Analytical skills for detecting abnormalities and identifying root causes.
- Able to work well independently while also being a good team player.
- Strong relationship-building skills and communication skills.
- Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point.
- Understanding of front office, middle office, and back office processes, and of State Street or Alpha applications will be beneficial.
- Command of technical skills such as SQL, data warehousing concepts, automating tools, robotic tools, etc., will be beneficial.
