Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst, AVP to join our team at State Street. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for working with external clients and internal business users to gather and understand user demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and explore business workflows and possible business scenarios to review and evaluate existing business models and future processes or solutions.
  • Accomplish BA relevant artifacts, such as functional specifications, user stories, wireframe models, and data mapping, to accurately capture user and system requirements.
  • Identify, solve, or escalate potential issues and risks during development life cycles.
  • Collaborate with other roles and teams to deliver consistent and timely results with high quality.
  • Establish and maintain strong network relationships with internal and external counterparties.
  • Organize and drive meetings, and participate in agile development teams as the Product Owner/Business Analyst role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in an analyst role, driving software development projects and agile rooms, with a background in financial or data research industries.
  • Fluent verbal and written English communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of software development and profound knowledge of financial products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work as a team player, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Multiple tasking ability, good time organizational skills, and enthusiasm for work with good self-learning ability.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Participation in agile development working models.
  • Good technical skills, including database tools.
  • CFA certification.
  • Major in Financial or IT-related fields, or both.
