Robotics Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced Robotics Solutions Architect to lead our technical engagements within the Industrial/Manufacturing community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evangelizing NVIDIA technologies and accelerating their adoption.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical competence and leadership skills to function effectively in a matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the implementation of NVIDIA platforms in pilot projects and light house accounts with Robotics-related applications and use cases.
- Develop and manage the Robotics ecosystem, including major customers' Enterprise IT staff, domain experts, computer scientists, and data scientists, as well as external partners working in universities and research institutes.
- Review business context for solutions to company challenges, define vision and requirements for the solution, recommend potential options, select the most optimal option, and develop a roadmap for the selected solution.
- Maintain a fertile training and collaboration environment comprising workshops, hackathons, briefings, regular communications with developer teams, and coordination with internal NVIDIA resources such as IBD, DevTechs, Solution Architects, Engineering teams, and product marketing groups.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience; Master's or Ph.D is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in successfully developing and deploying robotic systems in industrial, research, or academic environments, with a proven track record of successful implementations.
- Strong experience in IoT, embedded systems, data analytics, Industry 4.0 initiatives, and vision systems.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB, with experience in robotics frameworks like ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Excellent knowledge of software and application design, architecture, and quality assurance principles.
- Familiarity with humanoid robotics, algorithms, control theory, machine learning techniques, and robotic simulation tasks.
- Good communication skills to manage relationships with key technical developers in communities, able to lead and interact with cross-functional team members to accomplish project tasks and goals.
- Fluency in spoken and written English for worldwide communication.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AI/ML/DL frameworks, data science tools, and algorithms.
- Proficiency in developing and integrating perception systems for robotics applications, such as 3D reconstruction, SLAM, and sensor fusion.
- Hands-on experience in robotics technology, such as processing and interpreting data from various sensors.
- Extensive experience with robotics simulation environments, such as Gazebo, ROS/RViz, PyBullet, or similar platforms.
