About the Role

As an ADAS Driving System Verification Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) within our vehicles. You will collaborate closely with global and regional teams to define test requirements, design comprehensive test cases, and execute rigorous testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Analysis and Clarification: Work with customer function owners (CFOs) and market function owners (MFOs) to meticulously review and clarify ADAS function specifications, particularly focusing on autonomous driving control features such as ACC, ALSA, ALCA, L2+, and L2++.
  • Test Case Design and Review: Break down functional requirements into detailed test cases, ensuring they accurately reflect expected behavior across various use cases, operating conditions, and activation scenarios. Collaborate with test designers to ensure precise and comprehensive test case implementation.
  • Test Plan Development and Execution: Prioritize test content and develop a robust test plan aligned with project objectives. Assign test sets to appropriate platforms (vehicle, SIL/HIL) and oversee the execution of tests throughout each release cycle.
  • Issue Resolution and Reporting: Analyze test results, identify any discrepancies or failures, and determine root causes. Clearly document findings and collaborate with project teams and function owners to drive timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Vehicle Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in vehicle EE, ADAS, or CarIT domains.
  • In-depth knowledge of ADAS driving functions and systems, with practical experience in development or testing.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and proficiency in MS Office Suite. ISTQB certification is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, essential for collaborating effectively within a global environment.
