ADAS Driving System Test Engineer

Objective:

As an ADAS Driving System Verification Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our advanced driver-assistance systems. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to define, review, and validate test requirements for China-specific ADAS functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with customer function owners (CFOs) and market function owners (MFOs) to clarify the scope of ADAS testing required for each release, focusing on autonomous driving control functions such as ACC, ALSA, ALCA, L2+, and L2++.
  • Facilitate requirement reviews with both China-based and global partners to ensure comprehensive implementation of China-specific test content.
  • Maintain seamless communication with test managers globally to synchronize testing content and timelines.
  • Design detailed test cases for assigned ADAS functions and lead reviews with relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate and effective test coverage.
  • Prioritize test content and develop a comprehensive test plan, ensuring that test sets are allocated to the appropriate testing platforms (vehicle, SIL/HIL).
  • Enable testing at the start of each release cycle by conducting vehicle driving tests, recording memos, and establishing robust testing conditions.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and report findings to project teams and function owners. Drive issue resolution through effective communication and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in vehicle engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, computer science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically within EE, ADAS, or CarIT domains.
  • In-depth knowledge of ADAS driving functions and systems, with practical experience in development or testing.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and MS Office Suite. ISTQB certification is a plus.
  • Proven driving skills and an internal driver's license from an OEM are highly desirable.
  • Native Chinese speaker with excellent English language proficiency.
