About International Business School Suzhou (IBSS)
International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) is a dynamic and growing institution within XJTLU, driven by our vision to be a leading international business school. Job Description
We invite applications for Information Management and Marketing faculty positions at IBSS. Successful candidates will contribute to delivering high-quality teaching and supervision to our undergraduate and postgraduate students. We seek individuals who can excel in research activities, publish scholarly articles, attend international conferences, and secure research funding.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses across various years of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes;
- Supervise undergraduate, master's, and potentially doctoral dissertations;
- Engage in research activities, including publication of research articles and conference attendance;
- Apply for research funding opportunities.
Preferred Teaching Areas
- Information Management and Information Systems: AI in Business, Business Intelligence, Computer-Based Trading in Financial Markets, Database Management;
- Marketing: Data-driven Marketing, Brand Management, Data Visualization for Marketing, Marketing Intelligence and Applications.
Qualifications and Experience
We welcome applicants with:
- A PhD degree in a related field;
- Teaching experience in higher education;
- A proven record of academic publications or a strong pipeline of promising research.
Senior Associate/Full Professor applicants should also demonstrate:
- An excellent teaching record;
- A significant record of high-quality academic publications;
- Experience with external research grants awards;
- Successful PhD supervision.
Compensation and Benefits
Our competitive salary is RMB 450,000 - 700,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
