Job Title: Deputy Regulatory Manager - Global Sourcing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Regulatory Manager to join our team in Beijing. As a key member of our Global Sourcing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of safety and sustainability within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the GSO Regulatory Manager and senior management to develop and implement compliance strategies and processes.
  • Work closely with GSO Product Management and Supply Chain Team Leaders to identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier non-compliance.
  • Develop and maintain written SOPs to ensure GSO compliance processes are clear, concise, and well understood.
  • Provide direct supervision of team members to support problem-solving and other activities as needed to meet individual and team KPIs.
  • Engage GSO suppliers in efforts to identify, document, and improve sustainable manufacturing and operating practices in support of Brenntag's sustainability strategy and TfS objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university is required. Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration a plus.
  • Minimum 10 or more years' experience in auditing, quality, safety, health, and/or environment within the chemical or related industry.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Able to work effectively in the absence of daily direct supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills able to work effectively in a multi-culture team environment.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Mature organization skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Goal and results-driven.
  • Highly motivated, committed, effective, and supportive team member, able to work flexibly, quickly, and accurately to achieve tight deadlines.
  • Able to travel (domestic & international) as required to meet business needs.
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint presentation skills.
