Business Process Change Manager

HSBC's Pan China Wealth and Personal Banking Transformation team is seeking a dynamic and driven Business Process Change Manager to shape, deliver, and embed better customer outcomes across various products, propositions, and channels.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-paced change environment and contribute directly to creating and delivering solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adopt a customer-centric mindset to ensure business requirements deliver target business outcomes and drive customer value.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to design options and recommendations.
  • Bring structure and order to undefined problems and/or large-scale problems, making them easier to address and solve.
  • Create/design process flows, user personas, stories, and journey maps.
  • Use storyboarding, task analysis, and user research tasks to capture, develop user requirements, and support product owners to prioritize backlogs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure user stories are developed and tested correctly to meet acceptance criteria.
  • Identify opportunities for straight-through approval or processing through data automation and workflow automation.
  • Manage change management activities to ensure new capabilities, features, and journeys are well embedded.
  • Identify opportunities to drive continuous improvement in a dynamic and Agile environment.
Requirements:
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies, Change Methodology Frameworks, and best practice techniques.
  • Extensive experience gathering requirements and conducting design activity, with a mix of business, operations, and technology-focused projects.
  • Experience of delivering change into different audiences and managing implementation in multiple channels in a banking environment.
  • Overall financial services industry knowledge with specific functional expertise.
  • Able to work independently, under pressure, and proactively in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills with good command of written and spoken English.
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders, comfortable to influence and challenge stakeholders as needed.
