In this role, you will:

Key Responsibilities:

The First Line Risk and Control manager is responsible for assisting with the effective governance and management of non-financial risks in the First Line of Defence.

This job provides specialist Risk and Control advice and/or support, challenges and insights, promoting Risk and Control monitoring and decision-making.

This job category will carry out some or all of the following tasks:

lThe Business Continuity Manager with the implementation of the Risk and Control strategy as set out by the resilience senior risk control manager. This role will ensure the consistent and effective implementation and performance of operational Risk and Control assurance.

lThe Business Continuity Manager will take company level Business Continuity Coordinator (BCC) roles, and also be responsible for Non-Financial Risk (NFR), specifically focus on Resilience Risk, relating tasks, including RCA (Risk and Control Assessment), back testing, internal/external event triggered risk review, and internal team MI (Management Information) or regulatory reporting. This role will also assist resilience senior risk control manager to timely deliver team tasks including Control Monitoring, Internal Event Report and Tracking, Issue and Action Tracking, Management Action/Control Validation etc on Resilience risk management.

lThis role will engage with all 1st Line teams, 2nd line of defence and 3rd line of Defence at the direction of the resilience senior risk control manager.

lDevelop and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans (BCPs) to ensure the organization can continue critical operations during and after a disruption.

lConduct regular risk assessments and business impact analyses (BIAs) to identify potential threats and their impact on business operations. Work with business units to identify critical processes, dependencies, and resources. Use BIA findings to inform the development and updating of BCPs.

lDevelop, implement, and manage incident management protocols to ensure effective response to emergencies and incidents.

lCoordinate with internal and external stakeholders during incidents to ensure timely and effective communication and resolution. Coordinate incident response organization during actual events and simulations.

lConduct regular training sessions and simulations for staff to ensure they are familiar with business continuity, incident management procedures, DR drill and call tree protocols. Develop and distribute educational materials to increase awareness of business continuity and incident management practices.

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

·Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

·Minimum of 5 years of experience in business continuity, incident management, risk management, or a related area.

·Relevant certifications (, CBCP, ISO22301 or equivalent) are preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

·Strong analytical and problem solving skills with strong ability to drive operational risk within the first line of defense and obtain appropriate management buy-in.

·Good in communication skill and ability to interpret technology risks, controls, and findings to non-tech background people.

·Attention to detail combined with strong delivery focus and ability to meet aggressive timeframes with quality results.

·Working across cultures; good at speaking and articulating in both Mandarin and English.
