About the Job

As a key member of the Roche team, we're seeking a highly qualified Strategic Portfolio Management Officer to join our organization. This role will play a critical part in helping us achieve our business objectives and drive growth.

Job Summary

The Strategic Portfolio Management Officer will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of our strategic business initiatives. This includes identifying areas of opportunity, making actionable recommendations, and designing and executing enhancements to organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leaders to initiate cross-franchise platforms and plan cross-franchise interactions to achieve strategic and operational alignment.
  • Identify areas of opportunities across the organization and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and execute strategic business initiatives with oversight and support from senior leaders.
  • Assist and communicate with leaders in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
  • Guide leaders with expert advice to evaluate risk factors and enhance overall team efficiency.
  • Serve as a key connector with cross-functional and cross-divisional stakeholders to collaborate for business success.
  • Facilitate outcome-based planning and communicate outcomes to departments.
  • Keep essential strategic meetings focused and plan them effectively.
  • Set key performance indicators to measure and reinforce team performance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least a bachelor's degree with marketing, access, or cooperative strategy experience in a top consulting firm.
  • At least five years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry, preferably in an external customer-facing role.
  • Strong business sensitivity and holistic view in portfolio management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills, especially in cross-team collaboration.
  • Strong business acumen and adaptive capability.

Travel Frequency

This role requires minimal travel, with less than 25% of the time spent on business trips.
