Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to join our team at ALPLA (China) Technologies Co., Ltd. as a Product Design Engineer - Injection Molding. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Design and Development

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop high-end injection molding parts
  • Develop and maintain technical designs, ensuring they meet company standards and customer requirements
  • Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure design intent is met

Technical Expertise

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest injection molding technologies and trends
  • Develop and maintain expertise in CAD systems, including NX
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability

Communication and Collaboration

  • Communicate design ideas and concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure design and development projects are completed on time and within budget

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and design or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in engineering and design of injection molding components
  • Extended experience with injection molding of caps and closures
  • Broad knowledge of key manufacturing processes, including injection molding and compression molding
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of CAD systems, including NX
  • Superior time management skills
  • Critical problem-solving skills and active listening
