Executive Pastry Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join our team at Shangri-La.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus that meet the high standards of our luxury hotel.
- Lead a team of pastry chefs and supervise their work to ensure exceptional quality and presentation.
- Work closely with the culinary team to plan and execute special events and banquets.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to source high-quality ingredients and materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pastry Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or restaurant environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in pastry preparation, decoration, and presentation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with food safety and handling procedures.
The estimated salary for this role is between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
