Job Summary

The Video Content Specialist will provide digital video production services to support marketing and communications objectives in China. This role will collaborate with internal stakeholders on conceptual and stylistic design directions, ensuring that all materials support, reinforce, and align with the Company brand guidelines when working with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Localize Global product launch and campaign assets for use in China, including implementation of translated copy into marketing materials.
  • Assist with planning, developing, and executing new global product launch communications materials for use on Shure channels, including the website and social media.
  • Participate in the development of plans for product promotions in support of key marketing communications objectives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams and trade show vendors on trade show booth videos.
  • Assist with optimizing the use of video assets on the Shure China website.
  • Provide guidance to ecommerce/event live broadcast production to ensure the quality is above standard.
  • Assist with creating and updating web content using content management and digital assets management systems.
  • Work with local freelance resources and agencies as needed, to deliver creative projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Video Production or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in video production and editing.
  • Intermediate English skills required.
  • Strong understanding of video production and post-production process.
  • Knowledge of design principles and concepts.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
  • Basic graphic design skills are a plus.
  • Experience making short videos for Douyin is a plus.
  • Experience with web CMS or blog tool is a plus (HTML knowledge/experience not required).
  • Able to apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
  • Able to follow standard instructions, practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data.
  • Strong attention to detail – visuals, copy and numerical.
  • Works well under pressure and deadlines.
  • Able to master new skills quickly.
