Job Overview

This is a critical role in the product development team at Manulife. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development of new life insurance products, including communicating with business stakeholders, analyzing product feasibility, pricing, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of new life insurance products, including business requirement gathering, product feasibility analysis, pricing calculation, and regulatory reporting;
  • Ensure product updates and iterations are completed in a timely manner, adhering to regulatory requirements;
  • Review and approve special quotes for group and online sales products, and conduct regular monitoring and reporting;
  • Support various regulatory reporting and platform information management tasks;

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field;
  • 2-4 years of experience in life insurance product development, pricing, and evaluation;
  • Completion of 5 or more North American Actuarial Society (NAAS) exams or equivalent;
  • Proficiency in Excel VBA, PowerPoint, and other statistical analysis software, with a preference for AXIS;
  • Strong communication skills, with English as the primary working language;
