Job Title: Sales Solutions Architect

About the Role:

The technical pre-sales team at HERE Technologies plays a crucial role in enabling our sales teams on the technical aspects of bids and pursuits. As a Sales Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for working on the technical aspects of RFPs, RFQs, demos, POCs, technical workshops, and seminars. We are looking to strengthen our team in China.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Evaluate and demonstrate the capabilities of the HERE Location Platform and HERE Technical Assets in web and mobile applications.
  2. Design and craft solutions that meet customer requirements, including preparation of storyboards and UX integration with client and HERE assets.
  3. Collaborate with the sales team to address customer challenges, provide solutions, and outline solution roadmaps; respond to RFXs; and perform hands-on coding for developing demos and PoCs to showcase HERE Technologies' location-based capabilities.
  4. Understand and articulate how our technical assets contribute to offerings proposed to the customer and to the overall value proposition.
  5. Develop implementation plans for taking projects from a conceptual phase to full-scale production.
  6. Provide direct technical expertise for opportunities in one or multiple domains of knowledge.
  7. Provide feedback to sales, product marketing, and product management on current and future product requirements and enhancements.
  8. Support partners by providing technical presales support, joint go-to-market initiatives, and technical enablement.
  9. Participate in company marketing events, seminars, and technical workshops.
  10. Develop and communicate project specifications/progress and maintain ongoing dialogue with management and product development teams.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  2. 10+ years of relevant technical experience, with 5+ years in technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or similar roles.
  3. Software development experience in Java, Python, Scala, and scripting.
  4. Proven customer-facing skills and a consistent track record in major account management.
  5. Previous experience in crafting and delivering large-scale software solutions to market.
  6. Technical application solution selling experience with Cloud applications, services, and APIs.
  7. Understanding of Agile software development philosophies and methodologies, particularly SCRUM.
  8. Team player with a passion for collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Positive and personal growth mindset.
  10. Attitude for learning and skill upgrading.
  11. Good communication skills in English and high fluency in Mandarin.
  12. Exposure to working in AWS, Azure, or other major cloud environments is a plus.
