Production Planning Specialist

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee the supply strategy to ensure alignment between supply and demand while optimizing working capital efficiency.

· Create and sustain supply and master production schedules based on demand projections, capacity limitations, and inventory goals.

· Track and communicate essential performance metrics such as service levels, inventory turnover rates, capacity utilization, and backorder conditions.

· Work closely with the scheduling team, customer service, and logistics departments to guarantee timely and cost-effective distribution of products.

· Detect and address any supply chain challenges or risks that could affect product availability, quality, or profitability.

· Initiate and execute continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing supply chain effectiveness, responsiveness, and dependability.

Qualifications

· A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Operations Management, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

· At least 2 years of experience in supply chain planning, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution context.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and various supply chain management software, including SAP.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with the capacity to navigate complex and evolving situations.

· Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

· A resilient character with the ability to thrive under pressure.
