Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Manager to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our Corporate Finance team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions to drive data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to collect requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Collaborate with global and regional Shared Services teams to identify new BI capabilities and projects
  • Conduct deep dive investigations into operations execution and business problems, identifying opportunities and leading or supporting implementation
  • Develop and maintain reports, data sets, and mechanisms to provide access to business data
  • Design and implement data visualization solutions, including investigation of data issues, data validation, scalability, and row-level security implementation
  • Create and deliver standards on defining, crafting, and documenting reference data visualization architecture
  • Identify and provide input on new technology opportunities, including LLM, Machine Learning, and NLP, to improve data cleansing and validation processes
  • Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting
Qualifications
  • Major in Computer Science, Statistics, or related majors
  • Proficient in SQL, Power BI, and Python; experience in AI, ML, and Data Science a plus
  • Strong critical thinking, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with excellent discernment to identify business opportunities and solutions
  • Good interpersonal ability across different function teams and departments, with a collaborative demeanor
  • Passion for new technology to drive innovation and change
