Job Title: Key Account Manager

Role Purpose: To provide professional services to patients and clients, promote GSK brand information, and maintain GSK brand reputation to achieve company-wide business objectives.

Key Accountabilities:
  1. Conduct professional visits and academic discussions in designated hospitals, meeting company requirements, and developing healthy working relationships with local hospitals.
  2. Actively participate in professional skill and knowledge learning, meeting company requirements, and applying skills and knowledge in daily academic promotion activities.
  3. Timely understand and collect client disease diagnosis and brand usage information, submitting reports as required.
  4. Participate in company business meetings and team building, sharing professional promotion experiences, insights, and market information to assist senior managers in achieving team objectives.
  5. Actively participate in SFA project implementation, timely and accurately entering relevant information (visits, coverage, meetings, client visits, and medical information provision quality), assisting senior managers in ensuring system effectiveness and quality.
  6. Assist senior managers in ensuring academic discussions and market development strategies are closely linked for each brand.
  7. Implement area business plans as directed by senior managers, developing and improving specified area business plans. Senior Key Account Managers can provide advice and lead business plan execution.
  8. Regularly visit decision-makers for key academic information and policy communication.
  9. Ensure all assigned activities comply with company policies and quality standards, Chinese laws and regulations, and other relevant behavior guidelines.
  10. Meet GSK global quality policy and global quality principles.
  11. Complete tasks as required by senior managers.
Qualifications/Requirements:

Education/Experience/Competencies:

  1. Bachelor's degree, preferably in medicine, pharmacy, or biology.
  2. At least 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in pharmaceutical sales.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Good information collection and application skills.
  5. Basic computer operation skills and relevant software application skills, such as Word and Excel.
  6. Basic English listening, speaking, and reading skills.
  7. Analysis and business planning skills.
  8. Persevering, enthusiastic, optimistic, and honest.
  9. With influence.
  10. Teamwork.
