Job Summary

Copeland is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chengdu. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality valves for various applications.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Design and drawing for ball valve, actuator, and its operation system.
  • Design work for the ordered product (making structural drawings and component drawings)
  • Design of air piping for pneumatic actuator
  • Creating a bill of materials (BOM)

You are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for innovative design. You promote high visibility of shared contributions to goals and quickly take action in constantly evolving situations. You actively seek input from pertinent sources to make timely and well-informed decisions.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Teams, Webex
  • Experience in product design and mechanical drawing
  • Background knowledge of industrial engineering (Mechanical engineering, fluid, material)
  • CAD operation (AUTO CAD D is better)
  • Communication skill: English communication

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Knowledge of valve and pressure vessel
  • Working experience at valve manufacturing company
  • D CAD
  • Knowledge of industrial standards (ISO, ASME, JIS, etc)
