Job Summary

Caterpillar is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support and coordination activities for a team of professionals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in your work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including answering telephone calls, taking messages, and responding to routine inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including vacation schedules and master schedules of whereabouts for staff.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including domestic and international travel, and assist with expense processing and charge card reconciliation.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, memos, and presentations for staff.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or equivalent experience desired.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in an administrative role, preferably in a business or corporate setting.
  • Knowledge of office administration procedures and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
